I'm one of the guys that loves Tabac. It lathers and performs even better since I got my water softener. I had an incredible smooth and close shave. Palmera rocks. Have an excellent shave of the day. Thanked: 953Razor: Dubl Duck Goldedge
Soap: SCS Rose EO
Balm: SCS Rose EO
nice shave. don't know why the ducks have such a rep based on this one, which is in nice shape. nice razor but not as good as my other solingens. doesn't seem to get as sharp or stay sharp as well. My kama, ator, wusthoff, friodur, regeldso, weltmeister, reviser, hessenbruch and wacker are all decidedly better IMO. But nice shave nonetheless.

Sunday morningish
Pre: Hot shower
Razor: J A Hellberg frameback
Brush: New Forest
Soap: Cella
Post: Proraso
AS: Laura Biagiotti ROMA
Strop: Neil Miller linnen/buffallo 30/50
Result: Damn close
I was warned by Neil that this one was sharp, but even though I payed attention to Neil I nicked myself FOUR times today. It´s hellish sharp, you´ve got to be very, very light on the hand. The grind is like a narrow/thin wedge with a clamped back on it. My God.Last edited by Mikael; 07-18-2010 at 11:49 AM.

Razor; Feinster Silberstahl "Friday"
Soap; Mama Bear's Pepperberry
Brush; AoS Pure Badger
Strop; Tony Miller's Latigo
After Shave; TGQ's AfterShave
Well 2 firstsNew aquisition razor, looked new but has been reworked/polished (poorly) at some point in it's life. Deep pitting looks to have been buffed out but there is a wavey apearence to the buffing, anyways at $20 for a "weekday" like new razor
hard to get to upset. The shave was weird but smooth. Very thin edge that made the whole thing feel like cheap plastic, thin plastic scales made noise...
The new TGQ Aftershave is great as far as I'm concerned. I like the fregrence as it's put on as well as after a few minutes when it's ever so slightly something else. Glad I bought itLast edited by DwarvenChef; 07-18-2010 at 10:11 AM.

Thanked: 158EJ BBB--6/8 Bengall--Proraso SC--Barbasol Pacific Rush ASThe Pacific Rush isn't the type of aftershave I usually go for scent-wise, but I am enjoying the face freeze during this heat wave.
