Thanks Robert!! It's a great shaver too!!! The MWF is great! One of my faves. Haven't used it in a while and realized today that I should use it more often!! Had a wonderful shave today!!!

Tuesday Afternoon.

Going out to see a game of hockey tonight, so this had to be done quick! Just 2 quick passes, but the Livi delivers even on a tight schedule:)

Did maybe 50 laps on an Escher, it was starting to tug just a wee bit. It sure did the trick, razor all sharp and smooth again.

Prep: Quick shower
Cream: Al's Shaving Cream, Saigon
Brush: Simpson Persian Jar 2, 22mm Super Badger
Razor: Mastro Livi 8/8, square point, ATS34, Wooden Scales
Strop: SRD Premium IV, English bridle.
Astringent: Thayers Super Hazel

Re: Cella vs MWF - I think Cella is slicker, I really like MWF and even bought that nice cup ... But it seems I get pimples of it :cry:. I didn´t use it for weeks (thought that maybe the hot summer weather was part off it) and tried a couple of days ago, again... in the evening I had a nice and ripe pimple right on the chin. And no, I don´t get pimples by it self anymore.

Mikael: I know...I need to play with both cremes a bit to get the hang of each a little better...I am even thinking about mixing them together and maybe with some other cremes/soaps as well. There are sooooooo many combinations one can try...which is why we will never get bored in this sport :)

I also received my MWF soap yesterday...I do love this soap. It lathered up perfectly and effortlessly. I like its scent better than that of the Cella, but performance wise, they are very close, except with respect to one characteristic - the moisturizing capacity of the MWF outshines the Cella in this regard. But since one data point is not sufficient to make a final judgment call, the experimenting will continue.
