Hey Robert. Sorry to hear your sick. Take care of yourself.

Überlather: CarrieM "Lemongrass" Shave Creme + Proraso Shave Soap + Glycerin

Result: I guess the Vegas trip has taken its toll on me...I am bed ridden today, nursing a nasty flu . But, this little setback is not going to stop me from shaving. So, today seemed to be a perfect opportunity for using my Scheön Burg. There's no messing with this blade! It delivered a smooth, BBS shave with 3 passes. The lather was equally fantastic...I had received a free sample of the Proraso shave soap from a vendor on eBay and decided to mix it with CarrieM's Lemongrass shave creme...I could not smell it (due to the stuffy head cold), but I am sure it was awesome. However, the consistency and thickness were everything that I have come to expect from CarrieM's cremes.

Today I got a PM here at SRP from the product manager at Weleda Norway. Turns out they like the picture so much they asked me if they could use it in a press realease about their products over here. Now isn't that cool? just thought I'd share.

    Thanks Monroe,
I've been pumping my system with lots of water (not much of a Gatorade person) and freshly squeezed lemon juice...Immersing my head in cold water helped keep the fever at bay last night.

Try the Gatorade in a flavor you can stand. It contains more electrolytes than H2O. The electrolytes will do your body a whole lot of good and prevent dehydration.

    Default Friday Morning Shave!

Shavemac 21mm | MWF + Musgo Real | Hart Steel | Razorock | Institut Karite Balm | Pinaud Clubman

This is one of the best soap/cream combos I have used. Not for the preformance, but for the way it left my face feeling after the shave. Absolutely no razor burn or irritation whatsoever. I was shocked actually.

    Good morning Gentleman.

Today I'll test my "vacation equipment":

soap: Proraso (it is hot in FL)
brush: a little one badger (brand unknown)
    razor: Feather
    ASB: Florena

Together with a Feather blade it works very well. I hope I get a good brush in FL.

I used Art of Shaving's Sandlewood soap and my Rudy Vey horn brush, followed by some witch hazel and Nancy Boy cooling gel. My lady is back home after nearly 8 months, boy am I glad she got home safe. Have a great week fellas.

    Thanks a lot sir,
I prefer to write in english too, it's more respectful to the other members, I am from Donostia in the Basque country, but I live in Navarre, in fact my ancestors were from Navarre:

I am glad to meet you here. As other people from Spain I knew the Dominican Republic in a holiday travel, that I enjoyed a lot, of course.
