Somewhere in Europe.

My Dad, after serving 10 years in the Navy, joined the Army when war broke out in Europe. He saw alot of action with the 110th Infantry Regiment on the beaches of Normandy, and in the Ardennes Forest. Some of the scars never healed completely.
He's gone 35 years, and I miss him and his counsel to this day... And I continue in my attempt to be half the man he was.
His grandson is kneeling in the photo to the right...
Thanks for sharing this awesome bit of history! My son & I are headed to Normandy this coming spring to see Omaha and Utah beaches and the war memorial.
