Post week of January 23 SOTD - Friday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Simpson "Chubby #2", 2-band, Super Badger
Razor: 7/8" Wade & Butcher Frameback, Wedge, Spike Point/Barber's Notch
Strop: 55/70 (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather)
Überlather: Jack Black "Triple Cushion" Shave Creme + D.R. Harris "Arlington" Shave Soap + Glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: D.R. Harris "Arlington" After Shave Milk
After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Arlington" After Shave
    Cologne: D.R. Harris "Arlington" EdC
Results: A Phenomenal shave today with this W&B. The Jack Black/D.R. Harris combination provided for some slick and super moist lather. The Simpson 2-band was the perfect brush to use to soften the 24-hr growth. What a feeling indeed. I didn't want the experience to end, but I have a feeling my skin will not be forgetting this particular shave for a long time to come. BBS with zero irritation.

Nothing fancy here, just a collection of affordable stuff that works well. Late shave today, I stayed home today as my grandson had a pretty bad asthma attack last night (pretty scary to say the least). As a young child I had asthma so I can totally relate to how scared he must have been waking up unable to draw a decent breath. He's awful tired today but resting up and getting better.
The older I get, the better I was
