    VDH Deluxe

    DAX High and Tight Pomade

Still quite a bit of the Ebola virus hanging on but I doubt I could stand another day on my back so I've decided to suck it up and go to work. The shave was top notch. The C.V. Haljestrand is looking like another one of those razors that only improves with use and stropping. The cologne is becoming a favorite too. I only bought the 4 ounce bottle because I had never tried it before but I think when this runs out I'll go for the big jug.

Thank you, Rene. The DD SatinWedge is very nice. Generally, speaking, I'm not a wedge fan, and prefer a large (6/8-7/8) blade size. Despite these preferences, it is probably my favorite wedge so far, despite its small size.

Rene, I really like it, but it is more of a gourmand scent then a vetiver. It starts out with a nice green vetiver, but drys down into a floral/chocolate combo. A nice, complex scent in my opinion.

Default Yep, Baldy's got a DE

    Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
Soap: Proraso Aloe & Green Tea
    Razor: Laurel with Feather Blade
A/S Balm: Nivea Replenishing Post Shave
    A/S: Old Spice
I was cruising ebay last week looking for straights and ended up buying this DE for 10 bucks. It's made in Sheffield and cleaned up nicely.
I've never even held a DE before this, and to be honest, for a guy who could probably give himself a straight razor shave blindfolded, I was strangely very nervous about this shave.
Result: 2 passes, not quite BBS yet but very smooth and no irritation. I was amazed how easy this thing was to use, fun too.
Thanks for all the posts and pics guys,
    Grant
