    Dovo Micarta
    C&E almond soap
    Savile Row brush
    GFT Coral Skin Food
    4711

On leave so have lots of time for a leisurely shave this morning
The Micarta is a little better than the first shave but could still use just a little more work. Unfortunately I didn't bring any thing with me to touch it up so will have to wait till I get back home from vacation.

    hot shower
    Truefitt and Hill 1805
    Edwin Jagger BB
    Moss Scuttle
    Tony Miller #1 strop
    5/8 Doubleduck goldedge
    TAZGMSC aftershave
    Royall Lyme

Had to shave the whole time with the kitty licking the backs of my calves, was kind of unnerving. She wouldn't leave me the hell alone this morning. Nicked myself once because of it (wasn't concentrating) but not badly and it's the first nick in a couple of weeks.

    Saturday:

    Rooney small #1 brush
    D. R. Harris Arlington soap
    John Clarke & Son 5/8
    Pinaud Clubman A/S

The Norton was getting me oh-so-close but with my heavy beard the blades were still pulling too much for comfort. I had been making do with a Feather while I worked on my honing, but thanks to a pasted strop from Tony Miller I was able to get that last bit of sharpness on the straights that put the Feather back in its little balsa coffin.

    Friday Night

    Saville Row Brush
    Proraso Pre Shave
    Walgreens Soap (forgot the name)
Morris 5/8 Red Imperial (Ebay special freshly honed)/ 5/8 Friedr Schmidt Revisor
    Proraso After Shave

Morris showing blood on each pass. Pulling just a hair, not uncomfortable, passes HHT. Back to the Gem,Lithide,Swaty, and Coticule. Finished up with the Revisor (John CrowleY) smooth as a baby's behind (touched up with the Coticule that came in from Tony along with new strop, butchered the last one).

    Default saturday afternoon

    Cool shower, hot face soak

Mama Bear elements of Bamboo soap
Cheap burma shave synthetic brush (works GREAT for hard soaps, not so great for creams)
    5/8 Genco spike point
    Paddle Strop
    Proraso aftershave cream
    TGQ Oak and Moss aftershave

I like the Oak and Moss quite a bit, especially after the proraso aftershave cream has soaked in. The scent clashes a tiny bit with the lavendar in the TAZGMSC aftershave that I love so much, but my normal royall lyme goes well with the goat milk stuff so I'll mix it up every now and then.

Face scrub with hot water and natural Lime soap. (flea market)
    4 minute hot-towel treatment
    Proraso Pre-Shave Cream
    Vulfix Best Badger Brush
Williams Mug Soap in a 1907 German made scuttle. (Flea market steal! )
    5/8 Dubl Duck Special #1
    Tony Miller strop
CA Trading Company "Lime" Dominica Bay Rum from Classic Shaving.

I found the scuttle at the flea market with a $40 tag on it. She said she would take $18 since she didn't know what it was. It's gorgeous. Has a small place for the soap. I cut a piece of the Williams Mug soap to see if it would work, at $1 you can't beat the stuff. Soap and Scuttle worked perfectly. So smooth a shave, my 8 year old daughter said my cheek was smoother then hers! Gotta love that!
