    Semogue 1520 | Cade | Filarmonica DT #13 | Alum | Cade Balm | Annick Goutal Vetiver

Well, I picked this baby up in the classifieds this week from "Angeleyes." The scales by Max mesmerized me and I had no control over the purchase. Needless to say, I am glad for my "involuntary" purchase as this thing shaved like an absolute dream.

Fabulous purchase. You have a double whammy: Filarmonica #13 and Max rescale

Really enjoyed the shower and shave today. The day continues with lunch with a group of guys from my old squad this afternoon.
    Jeff,
Nice day you've got planned. Enjoy it with the guys.

    BTW: Beautiful Carl Monkhouse

Edit: Wow, The Body Shop even recommends using a straight: The Body Shop - Get the Perfect Shave
    Thanks BB,
I'll check it out next time I'm in the mall. I am surprised the Shavemac shed even a single hair. The ones that I have (4 so far), have yet to shed one hair.

Wowww...a shop that recommends straight shaving...go figure, LOL

A fine shave this morning with the Spike, a razor I picked up at a local flea market and cleaned up and honed on my coticule. It's a great feeling to have brought this one back to working condition.
    Nathan,
That's a fine shave indeed. How do you like shaving with small straights? Also, congrats on bringing her back to life...It's always a great satisfying feeling when one does it oneself.

Everything was superb except the Cella. Sorry but I'm just not feelin' the love for Cella!
    Hey Bruce,
Wowww...that sounds like an amazing shave (minus the Cella). I guess you're trying to catch up with those times you were MIA, LOL?

PS: Sorry the Cella is not giving you the love you seek from a soap :-(

    Default Sandalwoods and Rums!

Al's Bodega + Mama's Sandalwood Vanilla soap -- FS 24mm Silvertip -- C-MON Blackie 7/8" -- Thayers Witch Hazel -- Ogalla Bay Rum and Sandalwood

I am falling in love with this C-MON more and more every time I use it, but today was a special shave: it all happened when i mixed Al's bomb with Mama Bears Soap. The uber that came out of that makes most other lathers I've whipped up in the past seem very ordinary and not so uber...
If you got these soaps/creams give it a whirl.

Have a great day everyone, shave on!

Vom Cleff razor/ Everest Cream/ Vulfix 404/ Aqua Velva/ Haslinger AS Balm

DFS with a killer Lather. The Aqua Velva was superb. The Haslinger balm leaves a little to be desired. But, overall my straight shaving skills are slowly improving. Thanks to everyone for sharing their SOTD, it's the first section I read everyday on the forum. Have a great day gentlemen.
