Razor: Apollo Mikron
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum
Brush: Simpson Summerset T4
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
A/S: Musgo Real Classic Scent aftershave
I recently acquired the Simpson Summerset era Tulip 4 brush and used it ffor the first time this morning. This is a very substantial brush (25mm knot, 50mm loft) and it produced a copious amount of lather from the MWF. The Apollo Mikron with a fresh Schick Plus Platinum blade produced an excellent shave and the Musgo Real splash was a great change of pace.
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 23mm Simpson "Chubby #1", 2-band, Silvertip Badger Razor: 7/8" Giesen & Forsthoff Decorated Back, Full Hollow, Spike Point Strop: 50/60 (Neil Miller linen/Premium IV leather) Überlather: Al Raz' "Black Pepper ∣ Cloves ∣ Orange" Shave Creme Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Amber Cologne: Creed "Green Irish Tweed" EdC Results: Everything about this shave was perfect:tu: (1) This full hollow Giesen & Forsthoff is one amazing shaver. She wiped yesterday's growth like hot knife through butter. What an amazing feeling!!! (2) Al's fantastic creme produced an out-of-this world überlather that would make all other überlathers green with envy. (3) The Simpson Chubby was a delight to use in whipping the lather and prepping the beard. And finally (4) the moisturizer/AS mix left my face feeling smooth and ultra moisturized. I am all smiles today.

ANother fabulous blade with your name on it. I love that Mama Bear's soap. Great scent too. It's a shame what happened to her house and shop though.
Niiiiiiiiiice Mikael. Gotta love the Gotta...very clean this one
Love the blade Grant. But really like the vintage bottle in the background. Get some rest buddy and say hello to family.
Classy shot Bill

Another terrific shave with the Oxford. The Erasmic was a tad thin but I think I did not shake out the New Forest 2201 enough before I loaded the soap. Nonetheless, I had enough lather for a two pass head shave as well. I dusted off the Dunhill as I had not worn it in a while...I enjoy it but it might be better for evenings. And today will be better than yesterday.

Hi Robert,
Reference our PMs,
I have found the solution for the problem encountered by the Badger,it is :
a.Jet lag thro'out the 14 days journey + stop over here and there.
b.Stage fright
Today I told her to behave otherwise she will be on the next flight to Tripoli
Cheers,
(Moonbeam
Great shave Matt...What?!!? No Filarmonica?!!? I thought you were hooked on it, LOL.
That combination Uber is one of my favorites.
Thank you Mikael. They certainly are fabulous shavers.
Ohhh José...you're killing me. That is one gorgeous Wacker (i think)? Very sleek my friend.
Bruce,
Wonderful razor. These celebrated W&B certainly have become legendary among wet shavers.
What a beautiful blade Nathan...Sorry to hear about the lather though, but looks like all went well nonetheless. What does the Dunhill smell like? Sounds wonderful
Tesite,
I Loooooove that brush handle. Very nice shot too
Thank you Jim,
Have a relaxing shave...that's the best kind. I am sure you will find something very appropriate to use (later in the day that is)
Frank,
Nice FON buddy. She's very classy. 3rd shave as a married man (or is it the 4th)? Has it sunk in yet?
Zsa Zsa Gabor once said:
"A man is not complete until he is married, and when he is married, he is finished", LOL
Thank you Oscar
Oscar,
I hope the interview went well. Were you being interviewed or doing the interviewing?
Beautiful Goldencrest and a FABULOUS "silhouette" shot...I don't know why, but it reminds me of the old James Bond movies' opening themes where women silhouettes are moving about, swimming or doing whatever. Very creative.
Congrats Moonbeam,
I take it that it worked. Your threat to send her back to Tripoli would scare the living daylights out of me too, LOL. Way to go.
,Thanks Robert, you have made my life 13 years younger but sadly we are all 'finished' like what Zsa Zsa Gabor said:jedi:

I might do a little more to it but this is the best its been in a long while.
Result: 3 passes for an impressive BBS, I quite like the Thayer's Lemon too, nice lemon scent without being to intense.
Grant
WOW to that razor.....
Nice razor, but I don't know what a slant grind is.
Thoughts on the Shave cream?
Nice W&B. This is why I shave at the end of my day, relaxes the soul.
Ok, so I tried to multi-quote but it won't work. I'll just say thanks to everyone for great posts.
Sooner or later I'll get tired of the 64bit question and figure out why the multi-quote won't work on the laptop with Firefox or Exploder. I am tired of cut and paste like I did above.
Enjoy the day!!! Of to TRENTON!!! ughhhhhhhhh (in the rain)
