DFS again, 3 passes and no need for a d/e touch up. The Horsehair brush is just a phenomenal face latherer especially when using creams. Wow, what great pictures already this week.

Hot, then cold rinse
A splash of witchhazel
Some Melaluecca AH firming balm
A splash of Col Conk Bay Rum

Soap: C+E Nomad

The proces: 3 passes and some editing
Steamy hot and ice cold towel
Aftershave: Nivea Balm

Result: smoooth

preshave: castle forbes shaving soap and after shave: pre de provence brush: simpson b4 razor: filarmonica doble temple 14 8/8

Thank you Robert! I like this cream, thicky and sticky (as in sticks good to the face) + I love the scent, it´s nothing for the subtle person though, but that´s not me

Soap: I Coloniali Mango Oil Soap
A/S: Mr. Taylor

I decided to reach for the I Coloniali Mango Oil soap this morning and was rewarded with a very slick lather. I enjoyed an excellent shave from the D R Harris razor and NOS Schick blade. A splash of Mr. Taylor and I feel like a million bucks!

This razor is where it all started for me three years and change ago. Back then I wore a beard and had not shaved for a couple years. I saw the razor in an antique store and for the princely sum of $4 it was mine. Some months later, I decided to start shaving again and located some SE blades for the razor. The rest as they say is history.

Today's shave was 3 passes to the dome and 3 to the face. The results were great. In fact, the more I use this alum block/cold water aftershave regimen, the more I like it.
