This is the first time I used the straight razor first thing in the morning before I had to be somewhere (an interview). What a great way to start the day!
Pre-Shave: Shower
Brush: Vestavia 25mm Silver Tip
Razor: Boker Edelweiss 5/8 w/ bone scales
Strop: SRD 3" Premium I - 30/50 fabric/leather
Lather: TOBS Lavender soap, TOBS Lavender cream, glycerin
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender)
After Shave: Castle Forbes Lavender
Cologne Splash: Lavender and Lime
Post-Interview Libation: Signatory label un-chillfiltered Highland Park 19 year old single sherry butt cask.
I am a big lavender fan and TOBS is one of my favorites; such a fresh scent. Had a clean shave done in a timely manner. An interview is a piece of cake after putting 3" of razor sharp steel to you face and coming away unscathed. Decided to uncork a special scotch to celebrate.
