After my shave I do the following:
- I dry the razor with a towel
- allow it to air dry for about 15 minutes
- Wipe it with a silicone treated gun cloth
- put in razor case and place in climate controlled gun safe
I think I'm going to polish the blade and quarantine it from my others to see what happens.
Thanks

Beautiful W&B Jeff. I really like it.
! That is a nice razor. Very lucky.
I couldn't have said it better. Sweet!
Your killing me with that razor. Love the inlay on the handle.
She is a beauty! Thank you.
Bill that is one awesome frame back and its in great shape.
Glenn do you store your razors with oil on the blade? Do you use renaissance wax? Just wondering if that would prevent that from happening.
+1 on that. Sweet razor!
It probably is. I think if you use Renaissance wax it wont happen. Im not sure if the gun cloth has enough oil in it for a blade. Guns are blued which has a bit of protection already with the blueing. I use the wax. Then let dry for an afternoon. Then oil the blade when putting them away in my gun safe. Thanked: 1185Unfortunately I don't own a frameback, but here's my SOTD anyway:
Hot Shower, Wade and Butcher Wedge, Omega Boar, C.O. Bigelow, Alum Block, Nivea ASB, Pierre Cardin Cologne. I took the day off today so this was a nice leisurely Hollywood shave (3 passes) maybe the best shave ever from this razor. The older I get, the better I was
