A bit of a surprise today, but firstly:

Part two of the honing test. This one got the coticule finish, whereas yesterday's Shark was polished on the mystery hone in this pic:

What I expected was an inconclusive result, but in fact the Shark comfortably trounced the Törnblom in terms of crispness and comfort, leaving me wondering just what this hone is. There's nothing much to say about it, except that it's a good deal softer than say a Thuringian, and could use lapping again on something finer. So today's shave was pretty good, but not outstanding, and I picked up my first shaving cut of the year :gaah:
