Thumbs up Sun April 24rd - Sat April 30th

    .
    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Genco 'Gold Seal'
    Brush: Simpson Polo 10
    Cream: GFT Sandalwood
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    ASB: AOS Sandalwood
    EDT: Elizabeth Arden - Sandalwood
Summary: Needless to say it was a gorgeous day here in Vegas. John 'Cabledawg' came by to spend some time. We had a relaxing and fun time. I also had a great shave today. Freshly honed Genco with my favorite sandalwood cream and other goodies. Mowed away my whiskers effortlessly.
Wishing everyone a happy Easter and a relaxing Sunday.

This was my first razor, which has just undergone an overhaul. I gave it new scales and hand sanded the blade. On Friday night I honed it from bevel set up to a Coticule then Thuringian. I could not be happier with tonights shave. 3 passes BBS.
Quite probably the best edge I have ever achieved.

Beautiful SOTD featuring a very well done rescale, Grant!
