Thanked: 1072Strop: Illinois 835Have a great day gentlemen
Brush: FS Finest Badger
Soap: Proraso (White)
Razor: Royal Invicta 6/8
Astringent: Thayer's Unscented Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
Result: This razor is in top shape at the moment after just getting a rescale and the blade sanded, polished and honed. A very comfortable shave, as close to BBS as I get from just 2 passes.
In the picture is one of the display cases I've just finished. I made 2 of them because, lets be honest, I know I'll fill them. And one day I'd like to pass on a 7 day set to each of my sons.

Baldy / Grant: Nice display case, is it lock-able?

Week of May 1 SOTD - Wednesday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 26mm Saville Row 3326 Silvertip Badger Maxterpiece: 15/16" Heinrich Böker #14 "Arbolito", Full Hollow Ground, Muted Spike Point (Black Horn scales) Strop: 45/60 laps (Torolf linen/Premium IV leather) Überlather: Provence Santé Shave Creme + Provence Santé Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: D.R. Harris After Shave Milk After Shave Splash: D.R. Harris "Pink" After Shave Results: This Arbolito is an amazing shaver ...especially this one, scaled by Max in beautiful black horn. No one does horn the way Max does it. We can call it the "Horny Maxterpiece" . Anyhoo, I digress. The Provence Sante überlather was a beautiful way to get the beard prepped up for this blade. And the Saville Row was the perfect choice for delivering and working this rich, wholesome lather into the whiskers. Ooooooh Yeaaaaaah!!!!!! This thing was so delicious that I spent a good 3 minutes working this lather into my face. The D.R. Harris Milk/AS mix provided the perfect finish to this fabulous shave. What a way to start this Wednesday.

Have a MARVELOUS Wednesday gentlemen .
To Max: get well soon brother

Otto,
This beauty is one of my favorites among your collection.
Tom,
That seems to be the consensus among the owners
Mikael,
See? You already have a marriage made in heaven. This PC (a gorgeous blade) and your Bill Simpson brush are made for one another. You don't need my Maxterpiece, LOOOOOOL.
Excellent shave and shot José.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY buddy
Glenn,
Super fantastic shave. I like your uber-combination and brush. Nice Halstead too. So, what's your next wedge going to be?
Beautiful KT GI. What stone did you use?
Grant,
Beautiful display case. Question is what to fill it with, LOL? Two of each blade (one for each case) or different blades? Hmmmm...choices, choices. Whatever the case, your sons have a nice inheritance to look forward to. Beautiful Invicta too.
Birnando,
"Brilliant" choice of hardware/software. I love the AdP line. Well done maestro
