hopefully the beginning to a new week and a new life.

Tomorrow morning my younger sister will donate her spair kidney to me in an effort to save and prolong my life. I've been doing dialysis 7 days a week since april 2007 and things are slowly beginning to fall apart. At her request we went in and had labs drawn up to see about the possibility of a match. Just so happens we are. So now we are on the eve of a lifechanging event for the both of us.
in the middle of this I'd like to change and state that during this "journey" I've had the opportunity to come in contact with an absorbanent amount of people both locally and through the internet-some of whom are right here participating in SRP. As such I'd lke to take this opportunity to say to everyone....Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Now for the request. Since my sister will be the first one going iinto surgery giving me another lease on life so to say. Could you please, if you get a chance think of and as such wish her well on this journey.

THank you all for your kindness and support

My thoughts are with you Michael, I now what you are going through, more than 25 years ago I lost my eldest brother also named Michael to kidney failure aged only 26, but you are lucky with having a perfect match with your Sister, i'm absolutely sure you are going to make a 100% recovery.

    Regards
    Jamie
