This is a really bad photograph of a watercolor that hangs above my desk @ work. I think you'll recognize the scenery from Brother Amund's trip to New Zealand this past spring. Just a little reminder to me to never take anything for granted and just live it...everyday. Have a Great Night Gentlemen!
That is a beautiful reminder of Amund!

Hey did you notice your razor has the Flux capacitor symbol on it. Yea Back To The Future is one of my favorite movies. LOL!

More honing practice; stainless steel is somewhat harder, I knew that but this was the 1st time going from bevel to finish. In the end I used a crox strop to squeeze the last bit of sharp out of this razor and it was as sharp as when I got it. Great test shave

Thanks Grant. You are correct, those scales are mine too. I really love "The Darkness" on display today, it is truly a work of art

    Soap: Omega
    Brush: WD 22mm Silvertip
    Strop: BD 3" 50/100
    ASB: Tend Skin
    AS: OBR+L+P
    Cologne: OBR+S+C
    Razor: Puma 'My Darling'

I've posted this identical shave a couple of times, so no picture, to redundant. The thing is, I love this razor. Between it and my Genco's, W&B's and Challenges I'm beginning to discover my favorites. The Puma is definitely one of them, if not my overall favorite. It's getting to be pretty stiff competition.

I got a little hurried tonight, did the same thing last night, and ended up with razor burn again. I'm letting my angles get bad, shame on me! I've discovered cold water shaving, and just find it so much more enjoyable right now. It just feels better on these hot days.

I'll bet I revert come winter!

    Happy shaves all!

    Mike

    Default Wednesday Morning

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

I'm doing a double post this Morning. I'm posting this morning's shave, which will be repeated this evening as I'm invited to dinner.

    Prep: Morning Shower
    Strop: SRD 50, 100
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Soap: Tobs Rose
    Razor Dovo Master's
    AS: Allume Di Rocca Naturalle
    Fragrance: D&G Light Blue

I am also posting the shave I will be having for the next few days. I have put together a "travel Kit"
    Brush: Muhle Pure Badger
Soap: Denim Cream, bought from the local Supermarket
Razor: Concord DE, I think it is made in China, I also got this from the Supermarket for something under $2. I'm using Feather blades in this.
    AS: Allume Di Rocca Naturalle
Fragrance: Denim AS: Another supermarket purchase, I will probably decant into a smaller container as I'm only traveling with hand luggage.

Have a great few days, look forward to catching up with SOTD on my return
