Default Monday, father and son shave

My seven year old son joined todays shave with his own setup

    Dad:

    Pre-Shave: Hot towels
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
Razor: Toyo Scheön Burg 666 6/8 Frameback
    Honing Regimen: Chosera 1K - Shapton 2-4-6-8-16K
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/SRD Red latigo
    Soap: Tabac
    After shave: Tabac
Results: Another beauty arrived in the mail today, honed her up, and decided to go with the never failing Tabac today. Not quite as good shave as yesterday, but okay enough. Felt pretty quick that she wasn't quite where I wanted her, not quite sharp enough, so I settled for a two pass WTG shave today, and took her back to the hones and now I think she is where she should be

    Kiddo:

    Pre-Shave: Hot towels
    Brush: Simpson Wee Scot
    Razor: Sedef shavette
    Strop: Leather belt
    Cream: TOBS Rose
    After shave: L'occitane Verdon
Results: A nice two pass BBS shave

Need help or tutoring? Check out the  .

    PREP: Hot shower
    RAZOR: Micro-Sori
    BRUSH: Rudy Vey
    SOAP: Pre de Provence
    ASTRINGENT: Thayers Unscented
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing Balm
    EDT: Vetyver
RESULTS: Super Smooth WTG enough too stop
Im starting to really get the full swing of this razor, Clean as a whistle with 1 pass. The Pre de Provence was something I never really used that much, I always ubered it with the cream and got ok results. That is until I just face lathered with the soap, WOW a great shave, super lubricating and moisturizing lather, and an amazing after feeling. My skin feels so nourished and healthy ( and thats saying something since I dont shave back to back all the time) A great Monday already
AWESOME POSTS GENTS!!! ENJOY THE DAY!!

Was a crazy Sunday no time to shave, had to take Monday off to wait for the water company. So Monday it is ...............

Hot towel, little avocado oil to soften things up.
Black Rose scented soap (my own concoction)add some glycerin for extra lather and cushion.
    Rooney brush fully loaded
    Puma 75 to remove
Follow up with a slash of Polo men.

I love this Puma it never fails to deliver a smooth shave left my face calm, cool and collected.
And if the market keeps on and retirement goes to h it may be handy. LOL

    My best Gentlemen,
    Jim

Looking forward to your report on the new Nanny's formulation. Sounds like a lot of fun with some shaving buddies.

I love Neil's linen strops...Fantastic quality. Great job on the shave Mikael. That tea looks and sounds delicious. I love my bergamot in tea. That's my wife and I's ritual every morn for breakfast (Earl Grey + Bergamot).
I'm surprised how well it works with this hard London water, very surprised, tomorrow I've got to try another soap and see if I've improved my hard water lather skills or if Nannys new formula works miracles in hard water areas...

Yes, Neils linen's great (I love his strops). We love Earl Grey too and strange as it seems the tea room we visited made the best tea we've ever tasted (we tried Earl Grey and another blend, don't remember which though) and it had a crispy fresh flavor that was extremely nice.
