Results: A couple of weeks ago, I had decided to reset the bevel on this otherwise perfect blade. Thinking it was going to be easy, I set my sights high and rolled up my sleeves and went to work. Two grueling hours later, I was getting nowhere and the edge seemed to be getting duller and duller with every lap on the 1k ...So, not wanting to make matters worse, I called up Max and asked him if he'd be willing to do it for me and he graciously agreed. The problem seemed to be that the spine was thinner than normal and the edge was not quite coming to a perfect "V"...one needed to make the spine thicker, i.e., one layer of tape, which I was using, was not going to cut it. More was needed. Now I know how to deal with her (and the likes of her) . To make a long story short, I received her back from Max late last week, sporting a magnificent edge (thanks again maestro ). The lather was equally marvelous. I really like Jack Black. The Macadamia/Soy oils don't interfere with any other scents and for all intensive purposes, can be treated as an unscented creme and as such, is perfect for übering. And what better pairing that with Harris' Lavender Shaving soap . To say that this was a magnificent shave would be a serious understatement. .

Have a MAGNIFICENT Thursday gentlemen.
