GI: Get well soon buddy.
Jamie: You betcha brother. If it wasn't for Max, I wouldn't even be in the same neighborhood of straight shaving. In fact, I knew him before he turned me to SRP (kinda backwards, eh? but, then that's me...I like everything back asswards, LOOOOL)
Dominic: I don't care much for the AK Blue Lavender (my wife thinks it's good), so I do it for her...The things we do for our significant others! I prefer the MdC Lavender
Michael: Have a fantastic time on vacation...We'll miss ya bro
Charlie: What a nice and pleasant surprise to see you on SOTD. What a fabulous treat
Rune: There is NO WAY on this earth that you will have me believe that it's you in that picture. There is not a single spot on that man's face that has seen a razor over the past months/years, LOOOOL.

That Maxjestrand looks remotely familiar. Everytime I see it, I'm amazed with the transformation!
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Star 3" Chestnut Big Daddy 60/110 Hot Shower / pre-shave Oil rub Omega Crema Da Barba Omega 'who knows what' brush. It came in a kit with the soap and the stand. It's really stiff, but good for lathering on your face. Challenge Razor Works 4/8 (1891-1899 and NOT restored, this is how she was when I got her, amazing little razor) Jock Soap Tall Drink Drakkar Noir Budweiser
Nice shave this evening after a really hard, hot, tiring day. Dinner isn't until 8:00 so I had plenty of time to burn.
Once I discovered what worked for me with these 4/8's I've taken out more of the razors that I didn't have good results with before. This little guy got a good stropping and away I went, with a nice, clean shave. Finish up with a Bud and wait for some dinner!!!!
Happy Shaving!! (Great pics today!)
Mike-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

PREP: Hot shower and conditioner BRUSH: Shavemac Silvertip SOAP/CREAM: Custom Vetiver blend Bomb RAZOR: Robert Williams Barbers Notch STROP: Kanayama Cordovan AS: Alt Insbruck COLOGNE: Domenico Caraceni 1913 RESULT: Every once in a while you have a shave where everything just "clicks." This was one of them! The lather today had to be in my top-5 all time. The water/cream mixture hit exactly in the sweet spot and I was left with some of the most luxurious lather you could ever dream of. Even better, I did two full passes, plus touch up and could have shaved two or three other people with the lather left over! The Robert Williams razor performed flawlessly as always, and I walked out of the den with a face that would make a newborn jealous. Topped it all off with some AI aftershave and a dose of DC 1913 and I can now take on the world!
