You bet...and you played a BIG part in getting my smile to stick. Thank you for the kind words (Max' scales are legendary, regardless of type. I bet if you gave him trash, he'll turn it into a treasure)

Ouuuch Monroe. I guess she's out to get you, or maybe you're out to get you, LOOOL. Sorry about the stabbing buddy. Great shave though

Not surprising Mike, considering that this beauty is named after a cat, LOL. They always deliver. Fabulous gear today

Its been a good day. In June I injured my hamstring while doing a flashy kick in martial arts and having taken things easy it now feels as though its pretty much healed, so I got out on the bike with my local cycling club and did a short (30 mile) ride and tonight its feeling fine. We stopped half way at a café and I had a coffee and slice of Key Lime pie; so todays SOTD carries on that theme.
    Nic,
What a beautiful and fun day this was for sure. 30 mile bike ride is a nice warm up , LOL. Glad your healing fast...Well done on the shave theme and beautiful Seehund buddy

Just snapped a few pics..As you can see it's an 1/8" thick and 3/8" high, and yes she took a lovely smooth edge - in fact the balm isn't really needed just a wipe off with a hot flannel and a splash of cold water.

Just wondering what to hone next lol
I see what you mean Yorkie...Thanks for the pics. As to what to hone next, I am sure you will think of something, LOL.

I started my vacation on friday. Sadly it didnt start off great. My friend of 22 years who was diagnosed with Lukemia in Jan , And we though was getting better called me. Was told he has 3-4 months to live. Not Good!

These were the last 2 razors i honed up. I ubered Nancy Boys and La Toja. What w wonderful combo. 2 passes and a Great BBS shave. Rushed because my daughter was tired.

    My Precious........

I so like seeing the shaves you all put together even when I'm out for work etc. I find I'm smooth enough from a night shave to last most of the day as long as it's not my military work. I'm hoping for a very special SOTD on Monday so be ready for something Special!!!

    Default First shave back home

    Prep: Hot shower
    Lather: Proraso Uber
Brush: Omega 6126(?) either way nice black badger knot
    Mug: Large white coffee mug
    Razor: 8/8 Friodur
Strop: "Black betty" Home made black latigo strop, not much to look at but she works
Post shave(s): Alum then Honey Bee Gardens "Bay Rum" Aftershave

It's good to be home. I actually got here Friday eve but between trying to put things away and trying to figure out where my mom moved things I've been a little preoccupied. I think the only thing that would have made this better would have been to turn the lather into a cold water shave (it's been warm enough here in PDX the last couple days for it).

Take care and keep the shaves coming

    Michael
