EXCELLENT shave Birnando. After hearing all the rave about these Palmeras, I finally pulled the trigger and got one. Can't wait to see what the fuss is all about. I am sure it will be wonderful

It took a lovely edge, I got a good HHT result straight off the stones and after stropping it was super. A satisfying, shave and the 1st of many with this razor.
One of my jobs today has been grocery shopping, buying ingredients for Somerset Pork which I shall cook this evening (pork & cider casserole) and ingredients for some rather indulgent cup cakes which my wife plans to make on the weekend. I am not sure she appreciates how much the ingredients cost but I take comfort that they will certainly cost less than $16 muffins!
    Nic,
Congrats on the restore/honing of this beauty buddy. She looks marvelous and I am sure she shaved like a star too. That's interesting that a manufacturer would deliberately make an asymmetrical shaped blade.

Yummmm...Do you welcome unwelcomed guests?! I (and wife) am tempted to catch a flight and join you and your wife for that wonderful dinner you got planned, LOOOL. We can even take that $16 muffin and couple it with one of Mikael's infamous coffees and we have dessert.
