Monday
Razor: JM Scmhid & Son 6/8
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Institut Karite
A/S: Aqua Velva
Just another menthol Monday! Menthol is always a great way to start the work week, it perks me right up! I was actually going to use the Dovo this morning, but I was a little sleepy so I opted for the JM Schmid (which I'm pretty sure is a half-hollow) which is a little more forgiving than my other two razors. I did have to do a little touchup at the very bottom of the neck with a DE, but since I always shave a small bit (silver dollar sized spot of very thin hair on my balding head) on the front of my head with a DE, I didn't list it as part of the shave gear since it's role was minimal to the rest of the shave. Very good Monday morning shave with the Omega soap in the black tub topped off with Aqua Velva to wake me up for the work week.

Week of October 23 SOTD - Tuesday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 24mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger Razor: 13/16" DOVO "Waffen Schmied" #300, Full Hollow Ground Honing (Refresh) regimen: 4 (light) laps on CrOx leather strop Strop: 10/45/25 laps (Neil Miller Linen / Imperial Shave "Pegasus III" Horse hide leather / Cordovan leather) Überlather: CarrieM "Bay Rum" Shave Creme + Ogallala "Bay Rum + Sweet Orange" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose, no alcohol) After Shave Splash: Ogallala "Bay Rum + Sandalwood" AS After Shave Balm: eShave "Almond" ASB Cologne: Ogallala "Bay Rum" EdC (Double Strength) Results: This DOVO delivered such a TERRIFIC shave today . The edge was refreshed with a couple of light laps around the CrOx/leather and she was popping hairs like no one's business. It is a bit on the cooler side today and what better way to celebrate the coming of Fall than with some Ogallala Bay Rum. The Bay Rum über was out of this world. This combo can certainly hold its own weight in water, with the resulting lather deliciously luxurious and delightfully aromatic. The DOVO made no issues wiping the pesky whiskers down.By the time this shave was over, my face was left feeling ultra smooth and ultra refreshed
.
Have a MAGNIFICENT Tuesday gentlemen.
