I looked at the razor and figured I could explain to the SWMBO that it was another Corvette, but much cheaper than the other one which is parked in the garage.
I just wanted to thank my friends, you know who you are, for feeding my RAD. As luck would have it, I was contacted by Max right after these two purchases and informed that I was getting close to being able to design a custom for myself. All I can say is SWMBO will NOT be happy. A quick trip to the mall where I walk her into the Coach store will make things a bit easier. This custom will cost more than I ever thought!!

    Default Sunday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Razor: C.V. Heljestrand MK32 13/16
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/English Bridle
    Soap: Tabac
    Astrigent: Alum block
    After shave: Tabac ASB
Results: When combining some of the best made in Germany and Sweden you know you're in for a nice shave. Not only does Tabac make a wonderful lather, it also smell great, and with a freshly honed MK I both look good and smell good (at least in my opinion, and hopefully SWMBO)

Well I am now down in Ft Hood for the next four days and it's driving me crazy I don't have my gear here! Loving everyone's shaves/gear! Friday will be a much anticipated shave!
Jeff you can thank Uncle Sam for delaying my Maxterpiece AD!! I had to tell Max to recycle me in the roster until I am sure I'll be home for awhile. Still not sure if heading out or to where. Soon I hope...
But remember, a night or two on the couch and a new pair of shoes for SWMBO is a pain for a few days. A Maxterpiece lasts a lifetime!!(Just ask Robert)

The Klas Törnblom is being constantly and consistently punished on the Shapton 16k until it is perfect. Day after day. It’s getting there. I see improvement. It has perfection within it, as:

....”This is the eternal origin of art that a human being confronts a form that wants to become a work through him...”
    Martin Buber, I and Thou

La Toja is competing with Musgo Real for ‘explodedness’, that is, the ability to go from nothing to ‘stand back and admire’.

Witch Hazel is being used with much abandon, Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar to follow.

Cold water splashes are carried out with a friskiness reminiscent of bears catching trout in Alaskan streams or beach dogs chasing tennis balls into the warm evening ocean...

    Razor : Klas Törnblom
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: La Toja
    ASB: Witch Hazel
    After Shave:Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar
Cuff Links of the Day:Ones that look more expensive than they are, rhinestones? Mother of Pearl? Some sort of non-descript gold coloured metal? Or maybe gold covered platinum with diamonds, once owned by a European dictator or oil sheik type fellow?

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
