Thank you. It sure is superb, a fantastic smooth shaver now matter which stones and finishing I throw at it.It's a bit awkward to strop due to the weight, but other than that it is pretty much perfect .

This morning I finally got to test drive one of my 2 newest acquisitions from Glen (gssixgun). This 5/8 "black steel" sike point was re-blued and is now sporting a new set of black acrylic scales with a bit of yellow running through them to compliment the yellow wedge. Don't know anything about the brush as it was included with my other purchase from Glen, one of his DFSs.

    Enjoy your Saturday Gents!

Default A Saturday to build on!

    .

Locale: Land of the Free, Home of the Brave
Music: Kenny Wayne Shepard - Live On
Prep: Hot Shower / Lather Soak
    Razor: 9/16 Reynolds + 5/8 Spike
Hones: each got 5 laps on the Swaty, 20/50 felt / leather
Brush: Custom 24mm Silvertip / Lather Bowl #2
Post: Cold Water Splash - Alum - Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Uber: Original Old Spice Soap + Speick in the bowl = UBER!!
AS: Lloyd's AS Balm in Lavendar + Preferred Stock
    Edt: Stetson
Result: The old Reynolds has some micro pitting on the toe, so I was prepared with another razor in case this little wedge didn't feel right. BUT! I was prepared for nothing as she took off 3 days growth in 1 pass pretty darn well. Since I was prepared, I did the ATG pass with my Spike as she is about the best true shaver I own. The Uber turned out smellicious and I got the best lather in weeks from the vintage old spice. Speick just adds that extra touch that takes the lather to the next level of silkiness. I have no burn, nicks or cuts today! I smell good, I feel good, I look good and SWMBO thinks so too! Great Saturday to all!!
