Prep: Hot shower with Tabac Body Wash and Real Shaving Creamy Face Wash
    Brush: Omega 10005 Boar
    Razor: 6/8" H&H
    Scuttle: Robert Becker #9 Black
Strop: 30/60 laps on SRD Black Web/Latigo
Überlather: Tabac Soap/Cream, Life Brand Glycerin
    Splash: Tabac
    Balm: Tabac
Post: Forty Creek Barrel Select Canadian Whisky
Results: My first brush and straight razor ever still get the job done, and nicely at that! I think the Tabac balm may be the culprit in overpowering me with the scent, so I might combine my Tabac splash with my Trumper's Unscented in the future. Full writeup later in The Noob Chronicle. Happy weekend, SOTD Brothers!

Can't go wrong with the Wosty buddy. There's something to be said about the Sheffield steel.

    Jack,
Great setup...Now, that's what I call Tabac overload. never tried the balm, but the AS and EdC are strong enough and a very little goes a very long way. I love mixing the AS with Trumper's moisturizer as a base. Lasts a loooooooooong time too.

Indeed Robert. RazoRock Artisan shave soaps are at the top of my list as a go to shaving soap these days. Nice cushion & glide. Delightful fragrance too.

    Default saturday

    Good Morning

    Prep: Shower
    Strop: TI Paddle 30,70
    Brush: Semogue 2030, badger
    Soap: Cella, Crema Sapone
    Razor: Dovo Master's
    Finish: Allume Di Rocca naturale
    AS: Old Spice Lagoon

Nice long 3 pass shave. The elaborate Movember affair on my face is getting pretty thick now, counting the days till that comes off.

Traveling to Cairo for a few days from tomorrow, I'll have the Laptop with me, I'll post if I can and I'll certainly follow your posts.

    Have a Great Weekend

    Razor: Wacker Jungmeister 7/8
Stop: home-made horse panel on Mountain fittings
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 3
    Soap: Valobra almond
    A/S balm: Penhaligon Endymion

Factory-new razor arrived yesterday, had to be completely re-honed as my previous new Wackers but no regrets at all: it's now beyond belief sharp and gave a fantastic shave (of course more the merit of the steel than of my honing technique!!).
