    Default Saturday

    good morning. Today's shave:

    Boker 6/8 King Cutter
    Badger Brush
    Noxema cream (prep)
    Williams Soap
    Thayer's
    Aqua Velva Blue AS
    Nivea ASB
    Trumper's Spanish Leather Cologne

My second time with the Boker - gave it 15 laps on the webbing, and 50 on leather. Excellent shave, and the cut on my cheek from yesterday is looking better this morning. The Noxema & Williams combination produced a very nice, slick lather. Zero irritation.

    Have a good day.

    Barry

Very nimble in the hand. the only hard part is stropping it. I find it very difficult due to the width of the tang so it is a slow process but well worth it. I've used it about 5 times now and it never has bit me.(damm now I jinxed it!)

    Friday Evening
    Prep: Hot towel face treatment
    Lather: MWF
Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar in Cherrywood
    Razor: Nagakichi Kamisori
    Strop: SRD Black Latigo 25/50
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    AS: Trumper's Spanish Leather
    Balm: Trumper's Unscented
Comments: This was quite the experience with my first ever kamisori shave, which is why I opted for a powerful lineup of products to help me get it done. The result was a decent shave and a new experience under my belt. Sorry this is late, but I had to run out the door right after the shave yesterday evening. I will update The Noob Chronicle this afternoon, as well. Have a great weekend, my SOTD Brothers!
