    Monday morning:

    Boker 6/8 King Cutter
    Badger brush
    Anthony's Gold Shave Cream
    Thayer's
    Anthony's Gold Red Cedar AS
    Nivea ASB
    L'Occitane Vetyver cologne

I've struggled a bit with this Boker in the past, getting nicked up the last few times I used it. Stropped it 100 laps on my SRD Latigo and then gave it 10 laps on the back side, which is pasted with CrOx.

Trmenedously comfortable shave today. The Boker was very smooth and very sharp this morning.

The Anthony's SC is a real winner, with terrific glide and protection. I also rally enjoy the cedar scent of the AS.

    Were they all accounted for?

After seeing them all touch and kiss that Vince Lombardi trophy you would think one would end up with some kind of pathogen .

    Max,

Not to worry. The Lombardi Trophy was disinfected with antiseptic wipes provided by the Indiana University Medical Group between smooches--off camera.

    .

Prep: Hot Shower / Very Hot Water Soak
Razor: 6/8 Ontario Cutlery, 11/16 Hamburg Cutlery Co.
    Hones: 3" Big Daddy Felt/Chestnut 75/200 each
Brush: 24mm Pure Badger C/O Whippeddog
    Uber: TOBS Sandalwood
AS: Alum Block Then Humphrey's 'Sensitive Skin Formula' Witch Hazel
Edc: Old English Black + Cuba Gold
Result: I re-Honed these last night during the superbowl using my Norton 4/8k, C12k finisher followed by 20 on diamond felt then 40 on CrOx paddles. I worked very hard on them this time, taking extra time and effort to get a mirror edge. The time and effort paid off with a DFS using them both today. Last shave left me pretty torn up and bumpy, so back to the hones they went. This time smooth as silk and no sting on either side. Both razors are going to be much more in demand from now on. Oh, and A big thanks to Nicknbleeding for the Hamburg in bone scales. That razor is one sweet blade, hard, hard steel and a real pleasure to own, hone and use. Thanks Rene!!!
