    TGIF!

    Hot shower
    Dovo Special 5/8
20x linen; 60 leather on Illinois 127. Ritual HHT.

Today, first shave with Mama Bear's soap, Ye Olde Barbershop. Very fragrant. Mix of almonds, vanilla and spice? (At least that's what I make of it.) Soaked the puck in piping hot water during the shower; drained it off and started swirling with the long-handle Conk badger. When the bristles were well loaded, I transferred to the bowl and kept alternately hydrating and whisking. In less than 60 seconds, the bowl was overflowing with the most luxurious, aromatic lather. GREAT STUFF! I may have to order the sample pack to experience some of the other fragrances.

The scent harmonizes very well with Pinaud Clubman a/s. Silkiest BBS shave!! (Unfortunately, there probably won't be enough beard for another shave until Sunday.)

Yet again, the sun has to decided to grace us with her presence.
I swear, it's like we are in Spain or something

I decided to get an early start today, before the rest of the house woke up.
This 6/8 Joe Chandler is one of my favorite shavers. A wonderful shaving tool.
The rest was all Arlington. Sweet stuff.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Neep
Razor: Max Sprecher + GEM Junior for head
Superlather: Dr Harris Marlborough + Top Secret
    AS: Mennen SB
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Super shave and the more I'm learning with this razor the better it gets - the grind (half hollow) is so nice and gives feedback and flex like a champ

Morning SOTD crew! Haven't been able to be around here much the past few weeks. Shaving has been boring, 1 DE pass if I'm lucky every other day Fam's been under the weather and time has been scarce. BUT we're all on the mend so I've been looking forward to having some time for a proper shave this morning...thus I brought out the big guns!!!

19 degrees and you get all excited, so funny. Here, when it gets to 19 my arthritis starts to play up in my knees; I can't even take the dog for a walk today! You're probably all running around spruce forests 1/2 naked with lovely blond ladies at the moment...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
