Thanked: 10722000th Post
Location: Coffs Harbour Australia
Strop: MickR's Roo Hide
Brush: Comoy Badger
Cream: Cyril Salter French Vetiver
Razor: John Hassall 6/8 Wedge
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing

The French Vetiver cream was a sample from Rene. Despite the fact that I didnt do a perfect job of lathering it, I like it a lot.
The Hassall wedge gave me a fantastic BBS as always.
After 2000 posts I'm finally trying to make my own razor. These 2 are my first and they are being made from an old file.
Fingers crosses I dont destroy them in the grinding process.
Have a great week gentlemen and thanks for all the great posts and pics

Congrats on 2000, Grant!

Razor – Roger Pradat 7/8 - Thiers
Brush – Simpson Chubby#2 “not pictured”
Soap – Cella
AST – ALUM & Aesop Parsley seed toner
AS – Aesop Marrakech
Good morning all;
Spring chores abound, hopefully we will not be getting any late freezes. Many plants are in full bloom and this would be bad. I shaved with a friend’s razor today to test it out. Wow, an un-believable edge. This big French blade has to be held flat during the shave. Too steep of an angle and you will cut yourself. I think the Aesop line from Australia is my all-time favorite. Have a nice week.
