Thanked: 485
Thanks guys. I had such a wonderful day. The winery itself was that special spot on that certain day. SWMBO, the three kids and the grand child (Bailey).
I'm unsure how the possibility of me me being 100 in 50 years time is a positive thought, but I'm working on it.

Carl, sorry I missed your B-day brother, I hope it was a great one!! There sure were some funny posts for you to celebrate it by, hehehe. Don't feel bad about 50, I'm working on 55 this year and feel every day of it. Oh to be young and dumb again!! NOT!
Zephyr, thank you so much for sharing the pics. It is always good to see some of the faces of the folks you come to think of as your friends (even if just shaving friends! hehe). It is always a pleasure to put a face to a name. Not to mention you are guys after my own heart, just judging by the number of bottles and cans apparent in the pics! LOL.
It was a beautiful week in pics my brothers! I have been busy trying to make a few dollars this week, selling razors on the bay, restoring some razors for others, honing, anything I can do for a dollar. Being unemployed in this economy is a scary thing. I've even considered listing a few of my more rare and collectible things to bring in some income. BTW, I've listed a really rare Barbers hone in the classifieds, in case anyone is interested or curious. (Shameless self plug! Sorry).
Today's shave was with a beautifully restored Cosmo Mfg. Superior Silver Steel hollow ground fresh off the hones! It was the test shave for it before it went up for sale.
A great shave! No pics today tho. To little time.
Have a great weekend all!! and thanks for all the great posts...

It seems our meet-ups over here tends to start out with razor talk and honing, but we eventually turn to more important stuff like beer
Seriously though, the meet-ups we have had this far have all been absolutely great stuff. A fine group of gentlemen the lot of them.
Enjoy your weekend mate!Last edited by Birnando; 04-14-2012 at 10:22 PM.
