Long time since I shaved this way:

    Hot shower
    Canned Goo...(very gooey)
    Gillette multi-blade
    Aramis

Not bad, very quick. No enjoyment.

    Have a great day.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 3
    Razor: Bartmann
Soap: Dr Harris Almond + Proraso original
    AS: Proraso
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

Ahh, it's getting warmer here and it's lovely to use Proraso now (soon I'll bring out Alcolado too ).

... and my espresso shot of today (ESOT ):

    No pic today.
Fast three pass shave with a Gillette aristocrat travel/7 o'clock yellow/castle Forbes Lime/ 21mm travel brush.

First time I have ever face lathered in three years of str8's and DE. Interesting and functional but less enjoyable then a scuttle. Not bad for an 03f$&@ing hundred shave after getting to sleep at 0100. Oh the joys of command!!!

This is another one i honed. Same stones as before but with a slurry. I think i might like it better without the slurry. 2 passes. Smooth and no irritation.

    Gentlemen,

    Here is today's shaving playbill:

    Razor: Maher & Grosh 5/8
    Razor: Muhle R89
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock "SharpEdge" yellow
    Brush: Semogue silver tip
    Cream: Spanish Leather by Trumper
    Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
    Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
    Alum
    Witch hazel
Balm: Coral Skin Food by Trumper
    Aftershave: Spanish Leather by Trumper

And after that all was well in the world — almost.

I was out on the river again this morning. There wasn't much of a bite, but I caught a shad and had a nice day out.
