    My very first straight razor shave!!!
    It was just my neck and upper cheeks(I have a beard)

    Shave prep:Shower
    Brush: Custom Silvertip knot in Royal Ebony Base
    Oil:L'Occitane
    Soap: L'Occitane
    Razor: Gustav Kaiser -BlueDiamond, 5/8 full hollow (purchased from gugi in the marketplace)
    Strop: N/A, shave ready from gugi
    After Shave: L'Occitane Balm

    Im still alive!!

    SCUTTLE / BOWL: Fitjar Lathering Up Shaving Bowl
    RAZOR: No Name ("steril" Schulze?) from Thaler, Neunkirchen
    STROP: Kanayama Cordovan #60000
    SHAVE: 2 passes, WTG/XTG
    AS: Alt-Innsbruck EDC
    RESULT: BBS shave

    I have a feeling your correct. I have had a beard of varying lengths for about 8years, I'm nervous of what I look like without one now.haha As I get the hang of this I will probably be more willing to get rid of it as the process will be more entertaining.

    After shave: Mennen Skin Bracer
    Results: A wonderful, close to perfect shave!!

    Result: Quick, close, comfortable, and smooth shave…
