Had to share todays shave, this razor is one of those rare gems that just begs to be sharp and hones up with nought but the sight of the stones.

This William Rodgers 'Magbel' 6/8 (Made And Ground By English Labour) was a local find and still had remnants of the original heavy grease protecting it. I don't think it was ever honed, it took one of the narrowest bevels I've ever seen.

It was paired with TOBS Lavender, Proraso pre shave, Thayer's Original and a new Semogue boar brush (great brush!).

Away from my camera so please excuse the average pic (and the remaining marker on the blade - honed it just before the shave).

Have a great day guys!
