Congratulations on the new Nikon, Tom. I just picked up a new D5100 here in Japan. This is my first real camera, and I'm trying to learn to use it. So far, I'm having mixed results, but here are a few I like so far...

And yes...I'll pick up a new razor in Las Vegas...
You missunderstood me, Mikael...
It is MY razor!
:w
You wrote nothing about that, what grind am I getting? ... :D Wish I was with you, we could rent a couple of big ass Harleys (or Victory bikes) and go cross country and then roll up at Max house and shot the craps about razors and stuff and smoke cigars all night. Sweet thought, indeed :D :D :D
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: RV w Shavemac D01 two band
Razor: C V Heljestrand, B K 42
Cream: Castle Forbes, Lime
AS: Floris, Elite
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean :D
What a shave! :D Even though Mr Nick came by, while I was shaving I also where thinking about how easy this blade moves and while relaxing I forgot how sharp it is. I got a really nice shave anyway and brush's new :D with a really nice and dense two band Shavemac knot.

One of the things I enjoy most in life is cars. I've been enjoying them since I'm about 10 years old. I have two that I enjoy tremendously right now.
The SWMBO favorite car.
1955 Chevrolet, 265V8, Automatic. This was the first year Chevrolet offered a 265CI V8. The car was built in February 1955 and sold at Don Allen Chevrolet in Manhattan, NY. I purchased the car from the original owner in 2006. It is all original except that I had the engine rebuilt whne it hit 96,265 miles. I have the original purchase order, cancelled checks from the owner and a bunch of other materials including the Jan 1955 article on the "new" Chevrolet 265 CI engine.
This one is a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. It was purchased from Chevrolet and delivered via the Museum Delivery. My daughter and I flew to Memphis Tenn, then drove to Bowling Green to pick up the car. After a private tour of the Corvette factory. We went across the street to the museum where they delivered the car to me. We then spent 4 days driving home through the mountains of Tennessee, North Carolina and Virgina.
