    Saturday, June 30th

    Hart 6/8 / 30mm brush / MWF + Musgo / Alum + Pinuad

A great shave today with my freshly honed Hart. I love this blade more and more everytime I use it.

We got hit with a decrecho event last night. Thankful I still have power, since it is going to be 100F today. Don't have TV or cell service, but the internet works.

    Have a great weekend, gents!

    Thumbs up Saturday Morning

    What an Excellent shave !!!

Prep: Hot shower followed by two steaming towels, one over the first lather
ÜberLather: Tabac e Tabac w/ 5 drops of Glycerin

    Brush: 24mm Silvertip custom
    Strop: 25/50 SRD Premium #1
Shave: WTG, XTG, clear water touch up on the beard lines

This razor is one of those that laughs at the notion of "Too Sharp" the edge is wicked sharp and the shave is smooth as silk..

I took Mephisto’s advice (gotta remember to respond to his PM) and face lathered with the Mme Scodioli soap (I love the abbreviation ‘Mme and can’t stop using it when I refer to this gifted vendor of soaps).

I added no water after ‘soaking’ the soap (a little dribble of hot water left on top as I showered) and still shook my brush ‘the regulation’ five times but added no other water. The water I’d placed on top of the soap puck in the bowl was discarded from the soap before I loaded the brush. Worked a charm; thanks Mephisto!
Glad it worked out for you. It's a great soap.
