Today I am posting yesterdays shave. I have no plans on shaving today so it works out well.

    Cool Shower, Stephan's, Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Razorock Caprician Lemon Shave Soap
    Custom Bagger by Tim
Wade and Butcher, 8/8, Full Hollow Barber's Use
    SRDP1, 100 Laps
    Razorock Aluminum
    Pinaud Bay Rum
    Vaseline for men.

Right after shaving, Michael (MJSorkin) came over and we talked razor for a while which is always nice. Then I took SWMBO and the youngin for dinner at a new place. They were thrilled, I thought it sucked.

Location: In the North West of Norway, a small place called Vistdalen between Åndalses and Molde

    Prep: Long hot shower

    Razor: Max Sprecher

Stropping: 30/60 Neil Miller Linen/English bridle

    Brush: SRP Thäter

    Soap: RazoRock XXX

    Aftershave: Str8fencer's Florida Water

Result: First vacation shave, I've let the beard grow for a week, just for this shave. Spent a full hour in the bathroom, starting with a long hot shower followed by a slow, relaxing perfect CBS shave, couldn't have gotten a better start to the vacation

My travel kit, as you see I have only brought the bare essentials to survive a three weeks vacation

Thanks Max, I sure plan to

Yeah, I see no point in spending lots of money on something and don't care for it.

Beautiful scenery. Almost makes one take his eyes off the scary face filleting razor.

    Prep: Hot shower
    SS: Proraso “Sapone Da Barba
Brush: Omega #81569 – Modern Beehive “Two Banded Boar”
Razor: Muhle R41 w/ Astra “Superior Platinum” blade
Toner: Thayers “Original” Witch Hazel w/ Aloe Vera
    ASB: Proraso “Creama Dopobarba”
    AS: Proraso “Dopobarba”
    Result: VERY close, refreshing shave…

Wowzers! Bill and other wet shavers certainly aren’t kidding about the aggressiveness of this DE razor.
The R41 will give you the closest shave possible, short of removing the epidermal layer of the skin on
    your face. Shave with care.
