Wow, I can't believe we're already in the month of September. Summer ain't over yet in Vegas. The 2 best months of the year are still ahead of us with more acceptable temperatures. Whipped up some luxurious Tabac lather, grabbed a Maxtom, shaved, splashed a good amount of AS and I was back to clean shaven. Ready some T-Bone steaks on the grill and a bottle of Montepulciano. I'm a happy camper.

Its been a fun day of catching up.
A very simple 2 pass head shave with the Gem was a relaxing way to finish off the day.

Results: What a shave on this finest of Sundays :dropjaw:. The Acca Kappa produced a super rich überlather that was just unstoppable:tu. The weekend was packed with fun so far...Wife and I had a blast and spent some super quality time with the kids...one of my nephews was attacked by bees and got bit in 3 places playing soccer but he's doing fine (though kid). Unfortunately, we have to return them to their rightful owners as, for some unbeknownst reason :thinking:, they want them back today.

A couple very inexpensive new finds. The Razor and the scuttle. The razor, Coticule finish honed last night gave a great shave this AM. Scuttles do work well! I had a bit of P-160 left and it went into the scuttle tray. I soaked the brush in the well. I made and picked up thick lather and mostly face lathered. Any excess water dripped into the hot water well. Each pass made a bit better lather. Once I learned that one tiny squeeze was almost too much..I like the splash

M M & Co A dead ringer for the Le Coulter, and uses Le Coulter blades.( This appears to be another private label or perhaps a sub company set up in the destination country as was the Arbenz, in England.)
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

It has been a good day. Arsenal took three points at Anfield, we're having a beautiful late summer afternoon here, and I *finally* summoned up the courage to put an edge on this old beauty of a blade. I won't be trading in my big choppers any time soon, but it was cool to shave with something that's probably about 200 years old.
