I love October in Vegas. The extreme heat is gone. Today was another gorgeous day in the high 80's. Butterflies by the hundreds. Last blooms of the year. Daylight is getting shorter,

A great shave with top notch products. What's not to love.

Gents, thanks for the past week. It was awesome. Let's continue our strong presence. Enjoy the new week.

Maxi, how you liking that Nivea balm? It was all I used pre SR use. I always enjoyed it....even after rubbing it over my bleeding ingrown hairs

    Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Neep 28 mm extra stuffed silvertip (what a brush, holds water like champ)
Razor: Bengall by Cadmann & sons
    Soap: Penhaligon's English fern
    AS: Proraso
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

Fantastic razor, I only need one new pin for it (the washer on one side of the scales are gone, at the wedge).

    Good morning Gentlemen!

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Haryali badger
Soap: Martin de Candre 'Le Perle'
    Scuttle: Robert Becker extra large
Razor: John Barber, 6/8 smiling french point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Cypress Myrrh home made splash
Notes: First shave with this razor (restore thread here), and what a shave. Smooth squeege-like edge, there was a small frown near the heel which had to go before the edge could be thoroughly established, but it took a great edge after that was sorted. The suds were exquisite, and the splash was brilliant - the soft balsamic abre-like cypress mixes so well with the spicy sweetness of the myrrh, perfect for a cool fall morning like today.

I really enjoyed tonights shave after spending all weekend at work. In fact I think I've only had 4 days off in the last 5 weeks, and most days have been 10 hour shifts.
    No wonder I'm tired.
Anyway, the shave was great. the W&B is probably my favorite razor, and the Proraso combination was the perfect choice with the weather really warming up.
    A satisfying 3 pass BBS
