sashimi said: [quote] My dad passed away last Friday evening in the presence of my mom, my sisters and me. It was tough to let him go, but at the same time good to prevent him from any further suffering. I'm going to miss him very much. He always was there for us and gave us good advice in life. Born in the very late 30's he never owned a straight nor had ever shaved with one. His first was a DE from the mid-50's. He finished with some Gillette thing with 3 blades. [end quote]
God go with you my friend, I am so sorry for your loss. (deep sadness).
It sounds like the man was well loved and loved as well. I am thankful for men like him in this world.
Bless you in your time of grief.

Hot shower prep
Soap: Williams
Mug: Generic
Brush: Semogue
Razor: Morley 9/16ths
Aftershock: Alum block
Splash: Benetton “Essence of Man” Garage sale find!
Today: Dreary and cold but better expected, at least in the weather! The Shave: A great and simple shave in two. The little Morley is a long time favored razor! The French FruFru is a real knockout if used to excess; one partial squirt into wet hands is sufficient. Used gently it is a very satisfying scent.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Hi HoracioAR,
I must say I'm really impressed with the brush, as I mostly like using soaps and prefer to face lather, even though I have only done a few test lathers and two shaves I can feel the brush starting to soften already, I'm also impressed with the quality and finish of the brush, It's the first Boar Badger mix brush I've owned going on what I'm seeing I doubt it will be my last.
