Razor By Ali, victorian brush by Jo from the same forum (le retourducoupechou), and paddle from Chewbaca from another french forum ! (coupechouclub)
Good day y'all. I didn't get a chance to post this morning because I was running a bit behind schedule and needed to get to a courthouse a few counties away. So because I didn't have a lot of time to properly strop and shave, I used a DE, the much maligned Feather stainless steel.
Prep - hot shower
Soap - CO Bigelow cream
Brush - SOC SE 2012
Razor - Feather AS, Polsilver SI blade
Post - cold water, Kiehl's lotion
EDT - Creed, Green Irish Tweed

Have a great day!
Another shave in the shower today.
Hot shower
Cade soap, badger brush
1959 Gillette Fatboy, Derby blade
Lots of lather and a great shave. For those that have never shaved in the shower, give it a try. It is the best!
Enjoy!

Brush: EJ Best Badger, medium
Soap: Martin de Candre

Funny you should mention this, your posts have started me to thinking and you know, way back in the plastic crap days, shower shaves were fairly frequent but try as I might, I can't remember ever having a shower shave with a DE. I may need to give this a go sometime soon. Thanks for the idea

The shave was with the Burrell Top Flight this morning. Great shave. I've always loved this, my first razor, and its edge. If you have never had a Burrell Top Flight and you get the chance to get one, get one!
Soap was Madame Scodioli's 'Boheme', after shave was Madame Scodiloi's 'Step Right Up'. The Madame now has 'Step Right Up' shaving soap (Step Right Up is a scent by 'Cirmes'). I'll be buying some Step Right Up soap tonight, methinks.
I'm ashamed of emulating the Rolliecord post by my mate Cangooner but imitation is of course the highest form of flattery ;)

No shave today, just some Hutan Kalimatan to smell good and off too early to work...
Carl: Quit using HarryGR's picture as an excuse. We all know you just wanted to put on your wife's red heels again... :rofl2:

Have a Great Thursday Gents!
Prep - None
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - No name 5/8 shoulderless with French point (American Hardware store variety?)
Brush = Semogue 1350 Boar
Soap - Tabac puck
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
Just a super cold water face lathered shave. That delicate unassuming little razor gives an out of this world shave. The great lather supplied by the Tabac and 1350 Boar brush didn't hurt any either. Wish all my shaves were this good. Have a good one too.

Hello Gents. Here's what I did with my face today:
I shaved with a Wade & Butcher 9/8, The Celebrated, For Barber's Use, with RazoRock's La Famiglia, Don Marco soap, and an AOS Fine Badger Brush, and finished with Pinaud Clubman. All good stuff. Back to work (from home today), cranking out pleadings, letters, and the like. Have a blessed Thursday!

Wonderful razor, one of the under rated blades out there, I think. If you like thin and delicate German hollow grinds, this shaves close to my Dubl Ducks...

got a new after shave today !! uuuggghhh i hated it lol, washed my face 2 times cause i was pressed to get out of the house so no time for a shower .... still couldnt get the smell off ssssoooo what to do what to do ???? AAHHH ill shave and cover it up with a fresh scent ...
pre= nothing
soap= SRD vanilla bourbon
brush= Simposons Wee-Scott
razor= Gillette Flare Tip (Wilkinson blade)
post shave = nothing
result = it sucked at first , but only cause i started my shave without a blade in the razor ..lol... ooopppsss, but then it was a fast but effective 1 pass WTG & 1 pass ATG (just in neck line ) i must say that the SRD soap lathered very well and QUICK !! but i will also add that i was kinda iffy of the scent as it turned to lather , it kinda went from (my opinion) a vanilla pipe tobacco smell to a heavy almost coffee scent and while shaving i wasnt to sure if i was gonna like the scent ... but after the shave i enjoyed the scent very much !! id also like to add i dont think ive shaved this much in a week in my life ..lol
