Fantastic razor and even the new kid on the setup, the SE razor Star, was really good (I kind of trashed my favorite head shaver before, a GEM Junior, but this one I can see works well as a replacement).

Thanked: 1072Strop: MickR's roo Hide
Soap: Proraso
Brush: Frank's Shaving Fine Badger
Razor: 5/8 Bengall
Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
A/S: Proraso
Tonight was the first test shave of this Bengall which I just restored last week.
Man, the shave was amazing. The edge was honed on the Norton 4/8, followed by the Naniwa 12k.
The Bengall effortlessly wiped away several days of beard growth, leaving me BBS in 2 passes.
hope you all get shaves this good.
Have a great week fellas.

This day a smiling wedge was called into action. I consider this Sheffield steel to be a wonderfully designed razor. The curvature of the edge allows for a smooth comfortable shave. Have a great week gentlemen.
