    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Polo 8
Razor: Globusmen Gold + Star (for head)
Soap: Dr Harris + Palmolive cream
    AS: Proraso
    Edt: Penhaligon's English Fern

Fantastic razor and even the new kid on the setup, the SE razor Star, was really good (I kind of trashed my favorite head shaver before, a GEM Junior, but this one I can see works well as a replacement).

    Strop: MickR's roo Hide
    Soap: Proraso
    Brush: Frank's Shaving Fine Badger
    Razor: 5/8 Bengall
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
    Balm: C.O. Bigelow Mentha
    A/S: Proraso
Tonight was the first test shave of this Bengall which I just restored last week.
Man, the shave was amazing. The edge was honed on the Norton 4/8, followed by the Naniwa 12k.
The Bengall effortlessly wiped away several days of beard growth, leaving me BBS in 2 passes.
hope you all get shaves this good.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday y'all! Today I shaved with a Sheffield razor that wasn't quite dialed in last time, and today's shave confirmed I need to send it to a pro to put a proper edge on it. I lack the skill (and the stones) to do it, so off to a pro it goes.

    Prep - hot shower
Soap - the Body Shop Maca root cream
Brush - Simpson Persian Jar 2, best
    Razor - Tally Ho, 7/8
Post - cold water, styptic pencil, and Kiehl's lotion
    EDT - Hermes Voyage

    Sunday evening
    Hot water prep
Iwasaki Kamisori - TOBS Lavender sc - Barbershop badger brush - a small glass of Shochu - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel - L'Oreal asb - D.R. Harris Arlington as

Simply had to get back to the Iwasaki to gain more experience in the moves with this blade. The angle of shaving is really important, that's what I already found.
BBS in two with a nice horizontal nic from the squeek of my daughters as they were taking a bath in the background. I like this blade very much. It's growing on me. Somebody stop this RAD-thing please...
