    Sunday 17th February

    Hot Shower and Facial Scrub
    Shavex Brushless Cream
    Ford & Medley 333 5/8 Razor
    Semogue SOC 2012SE Badger/Boar
    Vitos Green Soap
    Witch Hazel
    Organic Shea Butter
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
    Morgans Classic Pomade
    Brian's Own Moustache Wax
EDT to be decided later (before I go to work this evening)

This razor is the one I started on 15 months ago. It is still performing well having had touch ups only ......with paste and a couple of visits to a purple Welsh slate. I am beginning to wonder how it would perform if an expert rehoned it and I started again from scratch. An excellent shave on a beautiful day in Wales. Pity I have to work this evening :-(

    And this is for today:

    17th February 2013

Size: 31.0 KB

    Location: Milano, Italy
Prep: Hot shower + cold splash
    Soap: Cella
    Brush: Custom Silvertip Badger 24mm
Razor: Wade & Butcher 5/8 Barber notch "The Hollow Ground Razor", black resin scales
Strop: Tony Miller 2.5" Horsehide Leather and Linen
    Shave: 1 pass WTG
    Astringent: Alum
A/S: Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum

First shave with this W&B, professionally honed by Dimitry (thanks again mate, this baby is a dream to use ).
I found this razor to be the best shaver I have now. The blade is what I'd define a silent shaver; almost no sound while you shave. Heavier than my other blades, firm and smooth. Got a closer shave than usual with just a WTG pass and I really enjoyed the "quiet" shave!

Default Watch out for that first step its a killer

I had to share this with you all. After I showered and shaved & took my SOTD photo this morning. I noticed I had to tighten the pivot pin on the Filly, so in my bedroom slippers I grabbed the Fillly and proceeded to go to the basement where my anvil & peening hammer is. And manadged to slide down 6 carpeted steps. The Filly went flying out of my hands, and I ended up in a heap at the foot of the stairs.
I'm fine and more importantly the Filly is also fine. It had opened up, but didnt land peanut butter side down. THANK GOD!!!

I had to share my stupidity with you all.
