Nothing else just a practical nice shave for a day of stay at home and work on remodelling. Shaved at dawn, though and it was a nice feeling.
Arise, awake, and learn by approaching the exalted ones,
for that path is sharp as a razor’s edge, impassable,
and hard to go by, say the wise. Katha Upanishad – 1.3.14

Today's shave needed to mow down the weekend's growth, so I went with a hollow, singing type of blade to hear the sounds of stubble getting shaved off.

Razor - Bob Allman, OCD razor
Post - cold water, alum, Kiehl's lotion

Thanked: 3Good morning y'all! Today's shave involved my first use of my wife's Valentine's gift to me, the Tradere safety bar DE. People love or hate this thing, so I figured I'd see what the fuss was about. For me, a pretty effortless 1 pass BBS.
Prep - hot shower
Soap - A di P
Brush - 2011 SOC LE, size 2, 2 band
Razor - Tradere SB, Gillette 7 O'Clock blade
Post - cold water, alum, Kiehl's lotion
EDT - Creed, Millessime Imperial
Have a great day y'all!Oscar

Extra: Pipe Smokes Stubble!
Hot shower prep
Razor: 5/8ths “The original Pipe”
Soap: VdH
Mug: cup and soup cup for lathering
Brush: generic black badger
Aftershock: none
Splash: Don Juan
The day: Bright, windy, and cold -17ºC. The Shave: Finally..this razor is a honing problem. No tape but a lot of cussing! It is shaving well now but has asked a lot to do so. The shave ended up as being the first good shave from this blade.! VdH is my go to for protection..glycerin added for moisture and slick. The Russian Don Juan is a great aftershave!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker
