    Strop - J.R. Torrey paddle
Prep - Hot water + shave towel
    Pre-Shave - Musgo Real Glyce
    Brush - Dad's old brush
    Soap - Palmolive
Mug - James Kent "Old Foley" scuttle
Razor - 13/16 Tahan near wedge
Post - Thayers + Nivea balm

First shave with this razor, I have a write-up in the restoration forum. A good shave, cut myself a little on the upward pass but not that badly. This razor has a huge grin, maybe I need to get a little more practice with it

Well, sometimes you get a lousy shave and I blame the cream Seriously, I bought it when on sale and I seriously think there was something wrong with the batch they sold out ... or I had a lousy shave, all by myself :-)

    Real Shaving Company Cream

I think the time has come to move some of my DE razors on to 'greener pastures' I am shaving with a few of them to decide which ones should go. Perhaps not a good idea. This was a 3 pass BBS.

    Prep - None
    Strop - 3 Inch bridle leather/hard felt
Razor - Clauss 6/8 stropped the night before
Brush - SOC 2 band badger
Soap - Williams puck/cold water face lathered
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
AS - Aqua Velva Ice Blue

As good a shave as yesterday's one with the Filly. All that with one of the cheapest to buy razors I own and definitely the cheapest most poorly performing soap that I own against a Filly and high end soap. Shakes head, there must be a lesson in there somewhere. Have a good weekend.
