    Have a great week everybody!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

A rubbish shave this morning; the honing of the De Pews did NOT go well, so it doesn't even deserve a photo.

Instead, I present to you Miss Ellie Schneider. She's my daughter's new dog, a Staffordshire terrier...

That's one cute looking pup Carl, Miss Ellie sure is welcome around my house anyday.

    Monday

    Razor | De Pews| Cream | C O Bigalow| After Shave | Tabac

Shave Of The Day take 2. I couldn’t leave the razor alone, so after applying three layers of tape again (in the hope of creating s secondary, thinner bevel) I did a pyramid of 20/20/, 19/20, 18/20 etc on the Norton 4/8 (to 1/20) and then 20 on the Shapton 16k. The edge was much improved. Interestingly, the warp was not as apparent (as gauged using a magic marker on the edge).

It was not a perfect edge, so now I have three choices:

    1) Live with it
    2) Send it to onimaru to be honed, or
    3) Sell it.

Option 4) Send it to me and I will dispose of it for you.

Do not worry Oz with it, he is very busy with mine right now.

    Problem solved.

ps. Where do you get Tabac AS? Cannot find it here.

I got the Tabac from a chemist, actually, in a little town near here...I can't find the soap anywhere...We're so backwards here...

    Monday morning:

    Chicman Shaving Soap Stick
    Morris & Forndran L7
    HishaKaku 6/8 folding Kamisori
    Tüff sensitive Aftershave
    Guerlain Vetiver EdT

In a roundabout way this razor came to me. Thank you Jamie, that you might separate yourself from it. A great tool for the daily ritual!

    Have a nice day!

It was a was a difficult razor to hone, but once the edge was right I must admit it would take some beating, a really beautiful looking razor, and the only reason that I was prepared to let this one go is I had two folding Kamisori razors, happy shaving Jean.

    PREP - Hot Shower
    STROP - SRD Modular Paddle
    SOAP - Jabonman / Musk
    BRUSH - Kimson
    RAZOR - Boxer 6/8

Well i wasn't going to shave today ( Public Holiday ), but i was bored, so decided to see if i could manage to use this little beast without slicing my face as usual.
I decided to strop it up, then use a tip i was given and that is to run the very tip of the point along the underside of any window sill ( problem solved, great shave, no cuts )
