    Thursday
    Hot water prep
Ali's Blade Raptor razor - Proraso Red sc - Barbershop Badger Brush - Gillette Tech DE razor - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel rose re-splash - hot towel - Truefitt & Hill 1805 asb - hot towel again - Penhaligon's Eau de Verveine EdT

I was a bit disappointed with my skills on the hones today. Gave the Raptor a few good laps on slurry and diluted to water on the coticule. Unfortunately, I'm still not there... It's sharp as a b**ch, but not smooth. I want smooth and will not stop until I get it. The first pass was for the Raptor, the second and third pass were for the newly acquired Gillette Tech razor (probably from the 50's; Made in England, with no date code, so hard to guess). It's way too light for my taste, but paired with the SuperMax blade it did quite well. It will leave soon though. I have two heavier Gillette razors, so no need to have sub-par shaves with this one.
Tomorrow TGIF and I can't wait for the weekend...
