Monday evening
Hot water prep
Gebr. v.d. Sanden razor - Custom sivertip badger brush - Body Shop Maca Root cream - cold water splash - Truefitt & Hill 1805 balm - hot towel - Parfum d'Empire Cuir Ottoman EdP sample
My first contact with the Maca Root. Only dipped the brush in and had enough lather for the whole foreign legion. Good lather, good glide. Highly enjoyable shave with the freshly touched up Belgian blade. The Cuir Ottoman is an intense leathery scent that only after a longer time starts to show off its undertones and it develops nicely. Let's wait for the verdict of SWMBO. :)
Prep: Hot shower
SC: Palmolive "Classic"
Brush: Rooney Style 2 Size 1 (Small) Faux Horn “Super Silvertip Badger”
Razor: Edwin Jagger "Chatsworth" w/ Wilkinson Sword blade

A most pleasant shave on a day off
ps As recommended by a member, today I used the grid pattern on my camera and now the bottle does not appear to be like the leaning tower of Pisa. (An Italian day, Razorguy will be impressed)
My shave today.
Like many days, my son was standing by observing. I fully intend to pass on as much insight to my boys about shaving as they want (doing my part, guys:))
He likes making videos, so today's shave is now on YouTube;)

A nice relaxing shave with the Fili and always love the scent of Sea Buckthorn. Have a Great Week Gents.
Cheers to you my German friend! Skin Bracer, is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated aftershaves ever. It really is outstanding, especially in warmer weather. It's one of the few quality shave products still widely available in drug stores and grocery stores. The other being Aqua Velva Classic.

Oh no! Another Swedish fellow posting pictures of those beautiful Swedish framebacks like that Mikael guy!
I might have to buy more framebacks!
I like shaving with a 5/8 full hollow, and I like my W&B 5/8 too, but shaving with a nice Swedish frameback is really cool. The weight of the blade and the balance I find very, very nice.
Wednesday
Nice shave this morning, very smooth. Mike's natural Pine and Cedarwood soap, which I haven't used in ages. Lavanda to follow...
I bet there's not a LOT of framebacks that have suffered a patinisation ritual the like of which this razor has seen...
