    wow !!! seemed like forever since ive been able to put a razors edge against my o so handsome face ...lol.. been super busy with with 2 baseball leagues , a softball league , and a tee ball league that i just let it grow , well today i efortlessly took of those whiskers that had grown to hairs for a awesome semi shave !! i say semi cause i left a small beard just to try to trim it with a straight !! i must admit that i had to clean up with the DE as i was left pretty uneven ...lol

    brush= thater 4411 finest badger
    soap= QCS " Briar"
    razor= my beloved unmatched 13/16 "Greaves" and a Super Speed with a feather blade secured !

    Hot shower
    Proraso Sapone Barbe Dure
    Century Pure Badger Brush
    Feather SS with Pro Guard blade
    Floid Vigoroso

    The feather SS is very smooth and easy to use in preparation for trying out my new Japanese Kamisori.

    This morning I built a simple DIY light tent so that I can also post pictures to the SOTD

    This is my first photo using the new tent. I obviously have a lot to learn to get a good photo!
    It looks like the bottle of Floid is about to tip over...

    Cheers.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Pensoftheforest by Rod Neep
    Razor: Towa
    Soap: Dr Harris Almond + Proraso cream
    AS: 4711
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean indeed

    I allways think that this razor was made by Tokusei, but I've desided it's prob a Towa

    Sunday morning
    Hot water prep
    Feather Artist Club DX with Professional Blade - MWF - Cyril Salter travel badger brush - cold water splash - alum - hot towel - Lorenzo Villoresi Piper Nigrum EdT

    I wanted to try this razor already for some time and when one came by on the local bay I got it in a sweet deal. I have to say it is all that they say and all that has been written about it. You just let the weight of the razor do the work. NO pressure... The shave was excellent. I also tried it ATG below the chin where I have stubborn growth and applied a little pressure in order to cut through it better. Instantly I realised my mistake and saw a few mini weepers. It is THAT sharp. On a side note I'm glad to say that if I have a good day on the cot and the Thuri I can nearly match this kind of sharpness. Not entirely, but nearly. The balance of the razor is perfect. It's only a bit small for my taste, but alas. I didn't really feel that I had a learning curve here, or that I needed to change my technique. Just keep the razor at a very flat angle and it's all good. An awesome start to what seems to be a sunny week. Enjoy gentlemen!
