Monday evening
Hot water prep
Gebr. v.d. Sanden razor - Custom sivertip badger brush - Body Shop Maca Root cream - cold water splash - Truefitt & Hill 1805 balm - hot towel - Parfum d'Empire Cuir Ottoman EdP sample
My first contact with the Maca Root. Only dipped the brush in and had enough lather for the whole foreign legion. Good lather, good glide. Highly enjoyable shave with the freshly touched up Belgian blade. The Cuir Ottoman is an intense leathery scent that only after a longer time starts to show off its undertones and it develops nicely. Let's wait for the verdict of SWMBO.

A most pleasant shave on a day off
ps As recommended by a member, today I used the grid pattern on my camera and now the bottle does not appear to be like the leaning tower of Pisa. (An Italian day, Razorguy will be impressed)

Thanked: 247My shave today.
Like many days, my son was standing by observing. I fully intend to pass on as much insight to my boys about shaving as they want (doing my part, guys)
He likes making videos, so today's shave is now on YouTube
